Snooooooooooow!!

We went to Manchester yesterday to meet Mark's mummy and she's sooooo lovely :D! This is us two in the pub, we got the cheapest rounds EVER, dearest was £7, all because Mark's sister worked there haha...

Everythings rubbish quality 'cos they're from our phones, I really need to learn to take my camera out with me.

Today we went to Hobbies to 'do something festive'.. we ended up playing monopoly for ages, Mark won :/..
We walked to the shop to get some food, then got back to Hobbie's and ordered a greasy take away and watched Blades of Glory :D

Mark had to buy this 'cos he loves Whitechapel (some band ew)

And now me and Mark are back at his about to watch Little Nicky, suchhh a good film :) Hopefully it'll carry on snowing like it is doing and we can take some pretty pictures tomorrow before I go to work at 4 :D

The road to Nowhere and a idea for a pin-up shoot with a difference

the drive to somerseat actually seemed as though we were getting nowhere it took us a good bloody 5 or 6 hours! whats that all about google told me it would be three hours!  anyway during this trip i got very bored so i started to take photos on my phone (thats why the quality's is low) i then ran out of space and texted my girlfriend close to a 150 times, god im missing her, anyway I watched the new saw on the way down on th'old Ipod it was amazing the second trap is blinking genius I have MUCH respect for the guys who come up with these contraptions as they are PURE genius when watching this i realised i could get a great shoot with some of these contraptions and then i remembered my love for pin-up girls so why not encorperate the both! I currently have one girl whos up for the shoot (only one ive asked at this point) so i best get to the drawing board and see how much its gonna bloody cost for props eh.

So here i am after making it to this place, currently eating donuts, listening to some "choons" drinking some of this crazy kopparberg which is really quite nice, and taking some photos whilst whoring about on facebook and talking to my beloved one on that msn mabobie, got a hell of a busy day tomorrow that im pooing myself over spending the entire day shooting this wedding so lets try to stay sober shall we lol.

I got told this photo was 'excellent' today by the interviewer :) and my mum wants it blown up and on the wall in the living room haha :D

Not looking forward to these next few days, no Mark, what am I supposed to do with myself?!

INTERVIEW!

Me(Mark) and Carrie went for our interview at Blackburn college of creative arts and media today - and im telling you it couldn't of gone any smoother - after going MacDonalds - I really wanted to try one of them sausage and egg mcmuffins - I got me one as well as a hash brownie and felt terribly sick after the two. Half an hour later we arrived at the college and a very nice man came to collect us. We got in there and he started running us through this course we already knew about, but hey its always good to get a in depth explanation of things 'ey!

Once he had done that, he ran through our portfolio's, which he said were excellent, so we signed everything and yeah thats one less thing to worry about, he also said our course should get us into London's colleges for degree level as they are credited highly by them! STOKED. So yea all is good here people! But I cant say that I'm looking forward to being away from my girlfriend Carrie for three days, meh well I have a wedding to shoot and it shall be done to my greatest standards! So cold outside!

Yea seriously during this shoot i was freezing and i was wrapped up in many layers! god knows how cold Jessica was (Model) haha, but yea all in all was a good shoot these are my two favourite pictures from the shoot, I was so nervous with never doing a outdoor shoot before but all was good, so here they are;

Website, upcoming projects and stuffs

Hey, I have been working on a website which is almost finished it just needs the last bits of content uploading and boom were away which will be pretty snazzy to show off our portfolio on-line (Saving the trees people), 

But on terms of upcoming projects I have been speaking with the S.O.P.H.I.E foundation to help promote there cause as i knew Sophie and would like to help the cause more than I already have done, so there has been talk of a photo shoot but nothing is final yet. I have Three upcoming photo shoots this week, one tomorrow (Tuesday 1st December) with model Jessica Warburton who has done shoots with companys such as Belstaff and Schwartskopf which will be a Glam Punk style (few photos will be up tomorrow) second one being with model Loretta Coyle and third being a beauty shoot with a friend to experiment with. oh on the 8th I have a interview with blackburn collage for a second media course so lets hope that goes all well.  Then on the 9th Im off to Somerset for a wedding shoot! I AM absolutely cacking myself over that but hey its an experience I cant afford to miss, then after that I have nothing scheduled apart from collage work and CHRISTMAS

So yea, there you go my upcoming plans people! I shall leave you with my favourite most recent piece of work, Traffic light lips.

Photoshoot

Sooo, I did a quick photoshoot today for the media studies course, didn't turn out AS well as I wanted but oh well I still like the pics :) be so much better if our rubbish sixth form had a nice backdrop ...

There's a first for everything

o, this is our first blog, for our first website, for our start in photography, hope you enjoy!


Me and Mark are currently working on building a website for our photography, it's going to include our individual work and stuff we've worked on together :) 
We decided to do a few shoots today seeing as I was told I had the day off work...
